New announcements from Schema

Yesterday, Figma announced new features aside from their main conference config. They also have a little internal conference called Schema where they basically cast a 3-hour talk to the web where they announce new features.

I couldn't find a recording of this, so I guess you had to be there. But they summarized the new features on their blog, which you can view via this link.

Personally, I'm very excited about native slots.

A client of ours will probably be very excited by the extended collections. They maintain a multi-brand system, so it's very relevant to them.

Figma also upped the limit for variables on a pro plan - from to 4 to 10. This will be very helpful in some design situations.
